Regular Meeting 

May 23rd, 2011

On May 23rd, Vice President Jennifer Matheson called the Regular Meeting of the Marrowbone Public Library Board of Trustees to order at 7:16 pm. Roll Call was taken with the following members present; Christina Marshall, Carol Iler, Jennifer Ashley, Jennifer M, Kris Seitz and Carolyn Austin. Librarians Sally Ascenzo and Lisa Spracklen (Co-Directors) and Lesa Oathout were also in attendance.

Minutes and Reports:

Minutes from the last meeting were read and approved as amended per a motion by Jennifer M.

The treasurer’s report for May was reviewed. Kris motioned to accept the report and payment of bills and it was unanimously approved by roll call vote.

Unfinished Business:

Alternate building expansion layouts were discussed.

CD number 115019 is expiring at the end of the month. Kris motioned to reinvest the CD at Scott State Bank for 12 months and the motion passed unanimously by roll call vote.

New Business:

After discussion, Christina motioned to renew the Non-Resident Card Program and it was unanimously approved.

Carolyn motioned to donate $100 to the Bethany Farmer's Market to assist with advertising and free copying. The motion passed unanimously.

Librarian's report:

Circulation is up. Summer reading program is set for June 2 through July 9th with a medieval theme of "Once Upon a Time...Read.

Christina motioned to adjourn the meeting at 8:21 pm.
