Regular Meeting

February 28, 2011

On February 28th, Vice-President Jennifer Matheson called the Regular Meeting of the Marrowbone Public Library Board of Trustees to order at 7:16 pm. Roll Call was taken with the following members present: Jennifer Matheson, Christina Marshall, Carol Iler, Jennifer Ashley, and Carolyn Austin. Librarians Sally Ascenzo and Lisa Spracklen (Co-Directors) and Lesa Oathout were also in attendance. Kris Sietz arrived at 7:22

Minutes and Reports:

Minutes from the last meeting were read and approved as per a motion by Christina.

The treasurer’s report for January was reviewed. Carolyn motioned to accept the report & payment of bills. Approved by roll call vote. The librarians will inform the CPA about a payroll error.　

Unfinished Business:

The District's new FOIA and OMA Officers were recertified and reported on some of the things learned during their on-line training.　

New Business:

Kris motioned to update the "After Hours Building Use Policy" and expand the "Library Use Policy". Motion approved.

Papers regarding the Public Library Construction Process have been handed out for the board to look over. The librarians are seeking information regarding an addition to the library building.

Librarian's report:

The Per Capita Grant and Modern Woodsman matching funds have come in. We have purchased new shelving units with the funds.

Circulation is up. Story hour is well attended.
